As an African American with dark skin why do I need to wear sunblock? My grandmother who is 70 still does’nt have any wrinkles.
Unfortunately the ozone layer that we have inherited after years of environmental abuse is not the same intact ozone layer that your grandmother experienced when she was your age. There are holes and thin spots in the ozone layer and harmful rays are now allowed to penetrate the earth and cause real damage to your skin. So, if you would like to have skin like your grandmother when you are 70 you will have to wear sunblock.

Can I wash my face with the same bar that I wash my body with?
Unless you wash you body with an unscented glycerine bar probably not. Body bars have deodorant and fragrance, 2 things that your face does not need. Using a body bar on your face can lead to darkening, sensitivity and aging of the skin

Why are my pores so large?
Generally people with large pores also have very oily skin. It is important that you use cleansers that can help to emulsify the oil that your skin produces. Clay based products are also very good for "soaking" up the excess oil. When the pores are clean they will appear as small as possible leaving an overall smoother complexion.
